Since its foundation, the Festival stands out by the creation of “Bridges”, a theme that highlights Peloponnese΄s geopolitical and historical relation to the rest of Greece, as well as the rest of the world, and the significant role of Corinth΄s isthmus to its unification with the rest of Greece. It is this unification that, through the seventh art, creates an intercultural bridge to connect Greece with the rest of the world.
During the Festival the audience will have the chance to watch the work of young directors from all over the world screening for the very first time. Of course, one of the most important moments of the festival is the International Competition. The jury which will decide who΄s gonna win the great Golden Pegasus award, consists of distinguished film professionals from Greece and abroad.
The main program includes 70 feature, short, documentary and animation films from 20 countries-most of them are greek- which will screen at Lais Theater in Corinth.
Among the features of the International Competition we meet films from Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Serbia and Romania.
