The 34th edition of Oporto International Film Festival will be held this year from 28 February to 9 March, at Rivoli Teatro Municipal, in Porto Portugal.

The Eternal Return of Antonis Paraskevas by Elina Psykou

The audience will have the chance to watch the official selected films in seven different categories. Among them, we meet the Greek The Eternal Return of Antonis Paraskevas by Elina Psykou and the Romanian Matei Child Miner by Alexandra Gulea, which will compete in the Directors Week Category for the Manoel De Oliveira Award.

In the short films of the Official Competitive Section Fantasy Films, Balkans representatives will be the Greek Pass by Lampros Gergopoulos, as well as the Serbian Rabbitland by Ana Nedeljkovic and Nichola Majdak.

Vassilis Mazomenos

Apart from the Balkan films in competition, Vassilis Mazomenos, a Greek director who has participated many times in Oporto International Film Festival and has been awarded, will be a member of the International Jury of the Festival, in the Official Competition section.
