TorinoFilmLab announced the
9 Framwork projects it will include in its
7th edition which will take place from
22-26 November 2014 in the frame of
Turin Film Festival. The development scheme includes six projects of 1st and three 2nd feature films presented of writes, directors and producers from four different continents and ten different countries. The participants will compete for Production Awards, an Audience Award and the parallel awards given out at the Turin laboratory at the
TFL Meeting.
The 9 Framework 2014 projects are
Aleli by Ana Guevara and Leticia Jorge; producer: Agustina Chiarino (Uruguay) – second film
Sal by William Vega; prod. Andrea Gutiérrez and Oscar Ruiz Navia (Colombia) – second film
Hunting Season by Natalia Garagiola; producer: Benjamin Domenech (Argentina) – debut film
Kodokushi by Janus Victoria (Philippines); producer: Masumi Soga (Japan) – debut film
Popeye by Kirsten Tan; producer: Weijie Lai (Singapore) – debut film
The Wound by John Trengove (South Africa); producer: Elias Ribeiro (Brazil) – debut film
The participants will be working on their projects throughout 2 weeklong workshops under the guidance of international experts. The first residential session will take place on
22-29 July in San Miguel de Allende, with the support of the
Guanajuato International Film Festival.
The conclusive moment of the programme will be a public pitch at the
7th TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event, which will be held in the frame of the
32nd Torino Film Festival, on
November 24-26, 2014. During this period, a Jury will assign Production Awards (starting from € 50.000) and an Audience Award (€ 30.000), which will be given to the project most voted by the attending Decision Makers.
TorinoFilmLab’s partners will also award various collateral prizes.
