For the 11th consecutive time, the
Romanian Film Festival in London that ended few days ago brought to the British audience new releases, rare classics, talented artists, and hot debates with film experts and critics, from Romania to the UK.
Special events, galas and conversations ran in parallel with the screenings, while, award-winning filmmakers and actors joined the festival to enter into a dialogue with their audiences.

RFF took off about the same time when the Romanian New Wave exploded, having the chance to highlight emerging directors and actors.
Under this year΄s moto,
Breaking New Ground, the festival held the London premieres of the latest films by

Leaving London,
RFF is travelling tomorrow to Liverpool for two special documentary screenings:
Maria Tanase (1986) by Laurentiu Damian and
Memories of Bucharest (1970) by
Radu Gabrea. After the screening follows a Q&A session with the filmmakers while, on December 16, Edinburgh΄s audience will have the chance to watch
Stere Gulea΄s
I Am An Old Communist Hag and discuss with the director.
