4rth annual meeting 2014: Eurimages supports 15 co-productions

At its 137th meeting held from 9 to 12 December 2014 in Turin, the Board of Management of the Council of Europe΄s Eurimages Fund agreed to support 13 projects of feature films and 2 documentaries for a total amount of €4,033,000. 6 of these projects are Balkan co-productions.

Kebab Royal - Peter Brosens (Belgium), Jessica Woodworth (United States of America - Belgium) (Belgium, Bulgaria) 

Disappearance (Verdwijnen) - Boudewijn Koole (Netherlands) (Netherlands, Norway) 

The bloom of yesterday (Die Blumen von gestern) - Chris Kraus (Germany) (Germany, Austria) 

Frenzy (Kadir ve Kardesleri) - Emin Alper (Turkey) (Turkey, France) 

Les Innocentes - Anne Fontaine (France) (France, Poland) 

Seneca΄s Day (Senekos Diena) - Kristijonas Vildziunas (Lithuania) (Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia) 

Blue Bicycle (Mavi Bisiklet) - Ümit Köreken (Turkey) Feature film for children (Turkey, Germany)

In the framework of the distribution support programme, Scheme I (Support for marketing and publicity costs), the Board has granted its support to 22 Films released between 1 June and 30 September 2014. The total support granted represents €123 397. 

With regard to the Digital Support Programme, which will be discontinued at the end of this year, the last support was granted by the Board to the Dom Kino theatre (Saratov, Russian Federation). 

Since it was set up in 1988, EURIMAGES has supported 1634 European co-productions for a total amount of approximately 496 million euros.
