Starting from today,
February 2, 2015, those interested can submitt their projects at the
Greek-French co-productions Fund, created in May, 2014, between the
Greek Film Center (
GFC) and the
French Center for Film and Moving Image (
CNC). The 3-year Fund aims at supporting Greek-French co-productions.
One of the most important conditions of this agreement, is that, regardless if it΄s a fiction, documentary or animation, a project can be financed by the Fund only if it has a duration of 60΄ or more, and, each country is being represented with -at least- one production company.
Projects will be examined by the competent services of the GFC and CNC, and those deemed eligible will be submitted to a six-member Greek-French committee for their artistic evaluation. Each project can be financed with €500,000 maximum.
