Toronto International Film Festival 2015
(TIFF) is established as the window to the North American film market, spreading also films in festivals across the globe.
The Lobster by Yorgos Lanthimos
The 40th edition will run from September 10 to 20, bringing 399 films in total, 289 feature and 110 shorts, presented throughout the festival΄s different sections.
Contemporary World Cinema will be presenting a diverse selection of 60 international films, including 7 Balkan productions:

Mustang by Deniz Gamze Ergüven
Discovery programme screens 30 outstanding feature films, including 16 World Premieres, by first and second time directors from around the world. The Paradise Suite by Joost van Ginkel (Netherlands/Sweden/Bulgaria, 2015) is having its world first presentation.
Platform is the new competition programme of films of high artistic merit. Full Contact by David Verbeek (Netherlands/Croatia, 2015) participates in the section, among the 12 titles competing.
Short Cuts section has programmed a number Canadian and international shorts, among them,
Semele by Myrsini Aristidou (Cyprus/Greece/USA, 2015, 13΄),
Tuesday by
Ziya Demirel (Turkey, 12΄) and
Blue Spring by Andreea Cristina Bortun (Romania, 2015, 15΄).
Midnight Madness presents screenings of the best action, horror, shock and fanatsy films around. Baskin by Can Evrenol (Turkey, 2015) and Wavelengths by Cynthia Madansky (Turkey, 2015, 6΄) represent Turkey in the section.
