Dimitris Athanitis΄ Invisible named Best Film at the 8th London Greek Film Festival

Dimitris Athanitis new film, Invisible (Greece, 2015) won 3 awards at the 8th London Greek Film Festival (LGFF)that took place October 19-25.

Invisible went away with the Best Fiction Feature Film Award, the Best Direction Award and the Best Actor Award for Giannis Stankoglou. Lovestruck by Thodoris Atheridis (Greece, 2014) shared the Best Concept For Fiction Feature Award with The Journey by Lance Nielsen (Greece/UK, 2014), the Best Screenplay Award, and the Best Actress Award for Smaragda Karydi

Beside the Best Concept For Fiction Feature Award, The Journey also won the Best Actor Award for Jason Flemyng, while Kimon Tsakiris΄ The Archaeologiost (Greece, 2015) was award the Best Documentary prize. On the short film awards, Greek School Prayer by Thanasis Neofotistos (Greece, 2014, 20΄) and Austerity by Renos Gavris (Greece/Cyprus, 2015, 15΄) shared the Best Short Fiction Film Award.
