The 14th annual International Film Festival Cyprus Film Days was concluded on April 24th 2016. During the 10 days of the festival there were screenings from all around the world.
The International Jury, composed of Cypriot Emmy nominated Costume Designer Jo Katsaras, English coordinator of Mannheim Meeting Place Julek Kedzierski, Luxembourger actress Vicky Krieps and film, TV producer Christine Haupt and Cypriot director Kyros Papavassiliou awarded as the Best Film with a 6000 Euros prize the Russian film The Gulls, directed by Ella Manzheeva. The Special Jury Award and 3000 Euros went to the French-Algerian drama Let Them Come by Salem Hristov. The Jury also awarded the film Mellow Mud by Renars Vimba from Latvia with the Best Director Award and 1000 Euros Prize.

Elias Demetriou with his film Smac was the one who fascinated the audience and came up with the Audience Award.
