Three Balkan Films Compete at the 19th Edition of Motovun Film Festival

The 19th edition of Motovun Film Festival started on 26 July and some 60 screenings will make the silver screens red hot during five festival days, until 30 July.

A Good Wife by Mirjana Karanovic

The films in this year’s main program include as many as 15 premieres, while the three side programs are reserved for the partner country (this year it is b) and the fourth one – Where Were You in 2016? – tackles the rise of nationalism in Europe. 

Nightlife by Damjan Kozole 

Films competing for the Propeler and FIPRESCI awards in the main program, among which 3 are Balkan productions are the following
