Best Foreign-language Film submissions for the 89th Academy Awards are now officially closed and we cannot wait to see which films will make it to the short list, claiming the Oscar statuette. This year 39 European countries submitted a film to the Oscar race, out of which twelve belong to the Balkan Peninsula.
