Glory wins 3 awards at the 54th Gijon IFF

The 54th edition of Gijon International Film Festival came to its end on November 26th 2016, awarding three prizes to the very successful film Glory by Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov. More specifically, the jury, chaired by Ms. Judith Colell and made up of Mr. David Matamoros, Ms. Kathleen Haney, Mr. Nima Javidi and Ms. Claudia Pinto has awarded Best Feature Film and Best Script prizes to the Bulgarian/Greek co-production, while The FIPRESCI Jury of the 54th Gijón International Film Festival, made up of Abbas Bozkurt, Pablo García Conde and Jean-Max Mejean awarded Glory with the FIPRESCI Prize “For its sarcastic look at the corruption in all the spheres of society and its simple yet powerful story that exposes universal issues related to class struggle”.
