The 2012 European funding program for film co-productions has been published. Sixteen co-productions will share the amount of four and a half million Euros (4.590.000 to be exact). Seven of these co-production are related to Balkan films and they will get 29% (1.460.000 €) of the total grant.
It is noted that the 2011 grant, that reached the amount of 22.350.000 €, has been decreased by 78% this year.
Something that didn’t stop the Balkan co-productions from getting 13% more from the total contribution compared to 2011.
