The verdict of the Hellenic Film Academy (HFA) committee for the nominees of 2012 awards has reached public.
"The 3rd edition of Cinema awards of HFA proves something very important:The Greek Cinema flowers, even in the existing barren situations", comments the HFA president Katerina Evangelakou at the press conference at Onassis Cultural Center (OCC). She added that the Greek cinema is supported by the people that creates it and she didn`t neglect to mention the problems that it`s facing today.
She also announced that the awards will be held at OCC on Monday the 7th of May and will be hosted by Vasilis Haralabopoulos, Maria Nafpliotou, Fay Xila and Vaso Kavalieratou.
21 full length fiction films, 11 documentaries and 23 short length have competed for the final nominees.
