The programme of the 69th Venice Film Festival is enriched with 6 Balkan feature-length titles and a Greek short film.
The Human Cargo, documentary by
Daniele Vicari, an Italy-Albania co-production, will be presented as part of the
Out of Competition section, where important works by directors already established in previous editions of the Festival.
Orizzonti that presents debut films and feature-length films from the fringes, as well as works that explore current genres and production pursuing innovation and creative originality, this year will screen two Balkan films, one feature and one short. The Venice Film Festival has released its 2012 roster icluding
Araf, a film by Turkish director,
Yesim Ustaoglu and
Out of Frame a short film by Greek director
Yorgos Zois, that is making its world
premiere on

Küf will be the opening film at the 69th Venice International Film Festival “International Critics’ Week” section.
O Luna in Thailanda by Romanian
Paul Negoescu is the second Balkan film participating in the Film Critics week. As part of the non-competitive
Venice Days section, will be presented a co-production of France and Israel with Turkey, by the title
Heritage. The film is directed by the Palestinian actress and filmmaker
Hiam Abbas.
