Eurimages announced the final selections for 2012

European co-production fund Eurimages, made its first-ever executive meeting outside Europe, during the 9th Dubai International Film Festival (9-16 December 2012). After that meeting the fund announced the final selections for 2012. It will support 17 features films for a total of €5.87m.

Among the selected projects there are four Balkan films:

Enklava, by Goran Radovanovic (Serbia, Germany)
The Six-Fingered Man, by Yannis Economides (Greece, Germany, Cyprus)
I am not him, by Tayfun Pirselimoglu (Turkey, Germany, France, Greece)
Lazar, by Svetozar Ristovski (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Canada)

In addition, there are three films which involve producers from the Balkans:

A Patriotic Man, by Arto Halonen (Finland, Croatia)
Modris, by Juris Kursietis (Latvia, Germany, Greece)
Cannibal, by Manuel Martin Cuenca (Spain, Romania, Russia, France)

Eurimages will also support the following European movies:

Every thing will be fine, by Wim Wenders (Germany, Sweden)
Human Capital, by Paolo Virzi (Italy, France)
White God, by Kornél Mundruczo (Hungary, Germany, Sweden)    
Me and Kaminski, by Wolfgang Becker (Germany, Belgium)
And there was love in the ghetto…, by Andrzej Wajda and Jolanta Dylewska (Poland, Germany)               
Rocketman, by Dagur Kari (Iceland, Denmark)    
La rançon de la gloire, by Xavier Beauvoir (France, Switzerland, Belgium)
The Prince and the 108 Demons, by Pascal Morelli (France, Luxembourg, Belgium, China)    
Like the Wind, by Marco Simon Puccioni (Italy, France)
Akwaba, by Benoît Mariage (Belgium, France, Switzerland)
