The
Apulia Film Commission Foundation, in collaboration with the Apulia Region, introduces the
4th edition of the
Euro Mediterranean Coproduction Forum taking place in
Brindisi-Italy on 24th-25th-26th October 2013.
The deadline for applications is Saturday 31st August, 2013
The aim of the Euro Mediterranean Coproduction Forum is to support the film projects linked to the Mediterranean region, enabling meetings and partnerships among operators of the field such as production companies, financers, market experts and distributors, allowing the participants to work together within a Forum in order to discuss and present their projects with the opportunity of “testing them” in their development stage and to come into contact with potential co-financers. In short, a precious verification which will help them in the further steps of production.
Meetings among producers, film commissioners and experts are held, with the aim of fostering the coproduction processes and an exchange of best practices in order to improve the operative modalities of the professionals involved in the Forum.
The participating projects, selected by Alberto La Monica and the Apulia Film Commission, are presented by their producers with the “one to one meetings” formula. These projects are all partially financed and “almost ready” as far as screenplay and organization are concerned, and await for further financing to close the budget.
The Forum’s objective is therefore to create an opportunity for offer and demand to come in contact by organizing one to one meetings between project representatives and potential financial backers.
With this event the Apulia Film Commission Foundation completes its building strategy of the audiovisual industrial chain, allowing the exchange of good production methods, as well as financial resources in order to support and facilitate film making in Apulia and Italy.
