The line-up of PriFilm Festival 2013

The 5th edition of PriFilm Festival will take place in Prishtina, the capital of Kosovo, from 20 to 27 of September 2013. The festival will open with a Gala night the red carpet ceremony on September 20 and the lime light this time will be given to Kosovar film. Kosovo΄s young woman director Blerta Basholli will honour the festival by screening the world premiere of her film Three Of Us. Cast of this film will feel the moments of being in the spotlight and appearing at the red carpet at this evening. 

PriFest will continue to maintain its position as a prestigious international festival bringing a very rich program with new films from around the world which are selected by the international selectors of the festival, all premieres in Kosovo. 

In the Honey and Blood Section, the official Balkan Competition section of the festival, will be screened some of the best latest films of the region. The line-up consists of the following films:

The Daughter - Thanos Anastopoulos, Greece/Italy 2012
Halima΄s Path - Arsen Anton Ostojic, Croatia/ Slovenia/ Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2012
Good to go - Matevz Luzar, Slovenia/Croatia 2012
Third Half - Darko Mitrevski, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia/Czech Republic, 2012
An episode on the life of an iron picker - Danis Tanović, Bosnia and Herzegovina/France/Slovenia, 2013
Pharmakon - Joni Shanaj, Albania, 2012

In the Main Competition Program we meet the following films from the Balkan Peninsula:

Circles - Srdan Golubovic, Serbia/Germany/France/Slovenia/Croatia, 2013 
Agon - Robert Budina, Albania/Greece, 2012.

The festival will also screen the documentaries The War Reporter by Silvestar Kolbas from Croatia, 100 by Gerassimos Rigas from Greece, Know My Name by Kristen Stevens and Inan Temelkuran, a co-production from Turkey, Hungary and Poland and The Boat by Roland Sejko from Albania and Italy.

Redemption Street

This year the festival has a focus on Latin Cinema with productions from Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Peru with movies that have featured in prestigious festivals such as the Berlinale, Cannes, or for the Oscar nomination as in the case of No from Chile.

As Special Screening will be showcased the films Blue is the Warmest Color by Abdellatif Kechiche, this years Palme D`Or winner, Gone Back by Ernest Meholli, a co-production from Netherlands and Kosovo and Asghar Farhadi`s Le Passe.
