Plot
Ayşe and Cemal love each other and it has only been a few years since they got married. They manage to make it and live happily in Istanbul, which they have ran away to. The only thing missing in their lives is a 'child'. As they can't have a baby under normal circumstances they approach illegal ways. But this decision they make, would end up destroying their marriage…
Director's View
This film is about families and their children; It tells the story of people who try to balance their positions in the society. It tells us about parenting, patience, love, pride and regret… Their fault is ΄to buy΄ a living creature, a human-being. In this film I wanted to dig all the details of the family΄s life which turns into a kind of living hell, after making such a decision. And to send them off to their new lives with their spectacular "decisive moments"… My will of bringing a new life to this world was relatively weak. It seemed to me so "insane" to attempt to this without preparing the right bases and circumstances to raise a human in. We are living in such a cruel world that I struggled with the idea of whether someone else would share the same feelings, for thirty seven years. Now I΄m relatively more comfortable with it. I΄m trying to be ΄a father΄… My daughter is now five… And she has an everlasting passion of ΄playing in a park΄.
