Plot
Matko is a poor smuggler who lives with his 17 year old son, Zare, in a hut beside the river Danube. After a failed business deal he owes money to Dadan, a crazy drug-snorting gangster. Dadan, who in fact double crossed Matko, offers him a deal. He will erase the debt if Zare marries his sister, Afrodita, whom Dadan wants to get rid of. But there is a problem: Zare is in love with Ida, and Afrodita is waiting for the man of her dreams.
