Elderly Zivojin lives with his grandson, Tsane and their cow Cvetka, in a remote hilltop. One day, Zivojin tells his grandson that he is dying. Tsane should accomplish three tasks before his grandpa passes away. First he has to go to the nearest town and sell Cvetka at the market. With the money he must buy a Saint Nicolas icon. Finally he must find a wife and bring her home. In town, Tsane easily fulfils the first parts of his promise, but how is he going to get home with a wife before his granddad dies?
