Plot
Bora, a Roma from the surrounding area of Sombor (Vojvodina), is a goose feather trader and is married to an older Roma woman. He falls in love with young Tisa whom her stepfather Mirta, also a feather trader, offered in marriage to a young Roma. Tisa refuses her future husband because he, being twelve years old, is not able to consummate their marriage, and grows closer with Bora. They get married in a church on a mountain.
