This comedy takes place in the late 1960s. The hero Andjelko, is the director of a small-town primary school; a man who leads a modest and seemingly harmonious family life, admired by his colleagues and loved by his friends. Andjelko, however, has one major character flaw: he forges school diplomas, and he has been doing so for years – secretly and unsparingly. He never asks for payment, because he doesn’t do it for the money. He has become a forger out of pure love for humankind, and the naive belief that he is performing a gesture of charity that paves the way for another person’s happiness and well-being... |
