A mentally ill poet, having by his side a religious nurse, foretells his end, creating his spiritualwill. Denying the material world, he“stages”with his imagination and the help of the nurse a play about the Lord’s Passion, in which he brings black immigrants to play the roles. In fact, this is a poetic study of the fiction film Words and Sins by the same director that was filmed afterwards. With archival material from major events of the 20th century and images from the misery of African people as well as TV Commercials, the director makes a tragic comment on today’s materialistic world. |
