A classic film noir set in present-day Athens that tells a romantic story of erotic passion. Theophilos Palios, the head of a small traditional publishing company, falls madly in love with Sia who does the vocals in the show of a well-known female singer and is supported by old admirers. In the person of Theophilos Sia finds true love but still keeps accepting offers from her many admirers. Theophilos is mad with jealousy something that leads him to squander his money and wind up in a financial quagmire. In the end he finds himself involved in a case of robbery and murder, which is being investigated by police captain Nikas. In a fit of guilt and self-sacrifice Sia becomes the police captain's mistress in exchange for his silence. A monstrous and nightmarish triangle is created.
