Eighteen nautical miles east of the island of Amorgos lays the island of Kinaros. An isle of the Aegean Sea, positioned between the Cyclades and Dodecanese. Three people, one land, one dream. Rinio gives a promise, to not abandon the place she was born. In her “return” trip she is accompanied by her husband and her son. But life has other plans... The lens follows Rinio's everyday life and struggles to keep vivid the land she was born, the same land her own people lived on. An attempt from the director to record everything from her own perspective and by incorporating the camera in her relationship with the protagonist, allowing the events to unfold in real time.
