Plot
In his first full-length feature film Nikos Grammatikos furnishes a novel twist to a classic film noir. Andreas, a coarsely sexy car thief has few friends other than a fisherman and a hooker whom he helps out with cash though he's not one of her clients. After stealing a car in a great madcap scene, he picks up a comely motorist, Ismene, whose car has broken down. But he tires of her evasions and leaves her stranded at a road stop. Their paths keep crossing, however, and it is the opportunistic car thief who is pursued and manipulated by the conniving sexpot. In the end his street smarts are eventually short-circuited by sheer lust but fate enables him to escape the woman's carefully spun web.
