A chronicle of human situations combined with the powerful desire for conquest and victory, the achievement and satisfaction of hopes and aspirations. Against the background of preparations for the organizing of the Athens Olympics the film addresses itself mainly to young people who face similar problems in their lives anyway, particularly in difficult and competitive times such as the ones in which we live. In a society that daily imposes the pursuit of success, some people persist in enjoying the game. Besides, the king of events, the Marathon Race, is the sport of participation and enjoying the contest and not so much that of victory.
