Film i Vast is a regional production centre and a public regional film fund. Film i Vast invest in film- and TV-drama productions. Film i Vast is one of the most successful regional film funds in Europe. Around 250 feature films have been co-produced since 1997.

Fucking Amal (Show Me Love), Jalla! Jalla!, Together, Lilya 4-ever, Kops, Daybreak, Dalecarlians, Zozo, Heaven/s Heart, Involuntary and The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo.

Well known international co-productions are: Dancer in the Dark (Denmark), Dogville (Denmark), Manderlay (Denmark), The Director of it All (Denmark), Ma Salama Jamil (Denmark), Capitaine Achab (France), Les Grandes Personnes (France), Kisses (Ireland) and The Investigator (Hungary), Antichrist (Denmark), The Killer Inside Me (England).

Film i Vast has managed to build stable long term relationships with interesting production companies and film directors. Famous directors like Lukas Moodysson and Lars von Trier continues to come back to the region.

Film i Vast co-operate on long term basis with other public funds in Northern Europe. The office of Cine Regio, Europe’s film regions common association, is located in Vastra Gotaland.
