Inkas Film productions was founded in 1997 and since then it has produced and co-produced national and international feature films, short films and documentaries. Most of them have received Media and Eurimages support and have successfully participated in major international film festivals, such as Cannes, Berlin, Montreal, Manheim and Antalya. Along with winning various awards they have also received international distribution.
Inkas has successfully trained students from Media Training (Rome) and Leonardo Da Vinci II (Spain) programmes and in 2004 she organized the EAVE (a professional training, project development and networking organization for audiovisual producers) workshop in Athens, on behalf of the Greek Partner (SAPOE).
Managing Director and major share holder of the company, Lilette Botassi, studied History of Art in France and has over 20 years experience in film production. She has worked as a Production Manager, Location Manager and Line producer in more than 40 international feature films that included filming in Greece.
Lilette Botassi participated at the EUROPEAN FILM PROMOTION, PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE, held during the 54th Cannes Film Festival as the Greek representative.
Since 2001 she is a member of EUROPEAN FILM ACADEMY (EFA) and since 2002 a member of SAPOE (Independent Greek Producer’s Association).
In November 2007 she was Head of Department for the Greek Programme of the 48th International Thessaloniki Film Festival and in April 2010 she was a member of the jury at International co-production forum, Meetings on the Bridge, held during the 29th International Istanbul Film Festival.
In 2009, two more members joined the company, Spyros Mavrogenis and Giannis Kostas. Both shareholders are co-owners of TV & Advertising production company, Lynx S.A. With this merge, Inkas is now able to provide post-production facilities as well.
