Sonja Tarokic was born in 1988 in Zagreb, Croatia. She studies at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, currently attending the final year of Master Studies in Film Directing; also studies Literature at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. She is the author of several short films: Pupper As... (documentary, 2008) Red (short, 2009) Smart Girls (short, 2010) You Bitch (short, 2011) I"m a self-made woman(short, 2012).
