Vjekoslav Vrdoljak is a Croatian cinematographer. He studied philosophy and comparative literature at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. In 1981 he graduated from the cinematography department of the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Arts. Vrdoljak started working as a photo reporter before moving on to filmmaking by assisting other cinematographers. His first major work was his father"s – Antun Vrdoljak – film The Glembays (1998).

After that he worked for Krsto Papic"s Story from Croatia and Dejan Sorak"s The Time of Warriors in 1991. He also worked as a cinematographer with other important Croatian directors in the 1990s such as Jakov Sedlar, Vicko Ruic and Branko Schmidt. In 2004 he professionally met his father again in the film Long Dark Night (Duga mracna noc). Vrdoljak filmed several other award-winning films in the 2000s as well as some television documentaries.

He has won three Golden Arena for Best Cinematography awards at the 1996, 1999 and 2005 editions of the Pula Film Festival Croatia. He is the president of the Croatian Association of film cinematographers.
