Marko Santic was born in 1983 in Split. He graduated from the Ljubljana Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in 2008. He is the author of several short feature films, the most distinguished ones being “Nothing Personal”, which received the award for best directing at the 2010 Croatian Film Days, as well as “Good Luck, Nedim”, which received the following awards: the Student Visionary Award at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, the award for best short film at the 2006 Sarajevo Film Festival, it was nominated for the best short film by the European Film Academy in 2006 and it received numerous other awards. Short feature film “The Hole” was also awarded at the 2007 Sarajevo Film Festival, at the 2007 Young Cinema Art World Student FF (student jury award) and it received the award for best picture at the 2008 Mostra delle scuole Europee di cinema. He has also directed documentary film “Remembrance Home” and TV drama “Great Escape”. |
