Rodica Mandache was born on April 13, 1943, in Iasi. It is known that Rodica Mandache decides to become an actress after she sees Deculescu Marieta on the role of the unknown song "Star without name" by Mihail Sebastian. Immediately after high school, in 1960, the capital started to give competition to the IATC. Acting for the exam, Bucharest was the first success for the young Rodica Mandache. A few years later she married Aurel Mihailopol, the great photographer. Together they have a daughter.
