Ipek graduated from the Bilkent University Music and Performance Arts Faculty Drama and Acting Department in 2005. After performing in various roles for the Ankara Öteki Theatre she moved to Istanbul. She acted in Oyun Atolyesi Theatre’s adaptation of “The Taming of The Shrew”. She also worked as Assistant Director for DOT Theatre Company’s adaptation of Mark Ravenhill’s “ Shopping and Fucking” and later performed in the Aksanat New Generation Theatre’s “I’m The Boss” and Oyunbaz Theatre’s adaptation of “The Seagull”. She continues to play a part in TRT’s critically acclaimed TV-drama series “Leyla and Mecnun” and has recently acted in the stage adaptation of performance artist Pippa Bacca’s life in “Pippa”.
