Cemil Agacikoglu was born in 1959 in Istanbul. His journeyl of visual arts started with painting when he was in primary school. His life as a photografer started in 1990. In 1995, he was honoured with the title "Artist of Fiap" in 1998. He stepped into cinema with his first film "Cover".
