Born in Cyprus in 1965, Elias Demetriou has British, Greek and Cypriot citizenship and now lives and works in Athens where he studied film direction at Athens University. He has directed shorts and documentaries, many of which were shown at international festivals. Among them: Tessera (1991), Privé (1996), Merry Kitchmas (2000), Coat Fitting (2006), Change for the Better (2008). Fish n` Chips is his first fiction feature.
