He was born in 1956 in Turkish-occupied Morphou. After completing his military service, he worked for ten years at the CyBC as a cinematographer and editor. In 1988 he co-founded the production company LUMIERE and LTV, where he worked as a Film Director for 12 years. Several of the films he has produced and directed have achieved distinction in international contests, such as the London International Film Awards. In 2012 his short film "Diadromoi" ("Corridors") received the Best Direction award at the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus. In 2013 he directed his second short film, "O+", which received the Best Photography Award and the First Woman Award at the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus. |
