Moldovan film director. Born in 1978 in Chisinau in the Republic of Moldova, then in the Soviet Union. After working for four years in theatre in Benin, West Africa, she moved to Germany and studied film directing at the DFFB (German Film and Television Academy in Berlin). Her short films were invited to numerous international film festivals and won several prizes. In 2009 she was a member of the Shorts Competition Jury at the 25th WFF. In 2012 she directed her first feature film, "Panihida". “Anishoara” is her latest feature.
