Born in 1981 in Corfu. He began playing the horn in the Mantzaros wind band in Corfu, and later on moved to Athens, where he studied in the Orpheon Consevatory (prof. Ev. Skouras),  graduating in 2006. He is also a graduate of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (prof. Peter Hoekmeijer / Herman Jeurissen - modern horn, Teunis van der Zwart - natural horn), where he studied with a scholarship from the Greek State Foundations Fund.
