He was born in Erzurum in 1969. He has finished the primary education and the high school at Erzurum. In 1986 he has begun to Anadolu University Açık Öğretim Faculty Economy Department. In 1990 he transferred to Cumhuriyet University Agriculture Faculty and Agriculture Economy Department and became an Agriculture Engineer in 1994. Same year he begun to work as a journalist. In 1998 his first book in which he was the co-writer with Prof. Fikret Başkaya “Rant ve Savaş Kıskacında Türkiye Ekonomisi” (Turkish Economy in the Clamps of War and Annuity) was published by Öteki Publishing. In early 2000’s he begun to give products in literature, his novels were published in art journals. Same year, he wrote a theater representation “Meçhulün Faili” (Perpetrator of the Unresolved) which was staged by Ankara Canşenliği Theater Group for two seasons, and tour the provinces and abroad. From 2006 he began to work on cinema beside journalism. His first short film was Êşa Şawatê (Burn Pain). In 2007-2008 he made a documentary film about the seasonal agriculture workers, Zarokên Axa Qelişî (The Children of the Crack Soil). |
