He was born in 1967 in Bucharest and studied Film Directing at the National University of Theater and Cinema (UNATC) in the same city. He has directed several short films – such as Short Story and The Angel – and TV series, and worked as an assistant director on films by Lucian Pintilie and Costa-Gavras. Try not to Blink is his fifth short film.
