Daniel Michalos was born in 1977 in Berlin and spent half of his childhood and adolescence in Germany and the other half in Thessaloniki, Greece. He obtained degrees in Engineering (in Esslingen, Germany) and Media Sciences (in Tübingen, Germany) before he started to get involved in theatre work. While working as a project manager and staging plays he also worked on several short films. In 2012 he took the craft of filmmaking further with an MA at the London Film School, where he produced two and edited another two graduation films.
