Tin Žanić was born in Zagreb, Croatia. He has been actively involved with Kinoklub Zagreb since 2005, as a scriptwriter, director and producer. In 2009, he took part in the Sarajevo Talent Campus. In 2010, he completed his BA degree in production at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He has been involved in the production of over a dozen short films. His main interests are feature films and music videos. Komba is his first short fiction film as a director.
