Immigrating from Diber, in what is today Macedonia, with his family when he was three years old he has never forgotten his Albanian roots. Creating art through film and stage work while delving into his heritage is what makes him unique in his storytelling and then depth of stories he brings to the surface. Paftuar is the third film for Roland Uruçi and his first film shot on location in Albania.
