Tasos Karydis is a director and writer, best known for his award nominated film Depth (2015). Prior to pursuing his passion for directing, Tasos worked as a civil engineer, but his love for visual arts won him over. With experience directing short films, his interests also lie in commercial and political videos. Other notable works of Tasos include the short films One Size (2015), where he served as Assistant Direct and Short Cut (2015), where he was a Production Manager. In addition to directing, Tasos also starred in the short film Mother's Son (2015), playing the role of a soldier in the Bosnia war who tries to escape and return to his childhood. A talented musician, Tasos plays the piano and guitar, composing his own music. He is based in New York City.
