Alba Sotorra is a feminist film director and producer based in Berlin. Her work focuses on stories of genuine characters that reflect, from a gender perspective, on issues like Freedom, Islam and Women, Motherhood, Popular Culture, Development, Capitalism, International Cooperation, Warmongering and Climate Change. Through creative documentary and AV Installation, she modestly aims to open spaces for reflection and discussion to facilitate understanding of the world in which we live. She believes that awareness and knowledge are strong tools to achieve Freedom.
