Dimitris Tzetzas is an independent filmmaker living between Athens and Los Angeles. He has studied film directing at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he was influenced by the local hands-on experimental filmmaking scene. He shot several short films and his thesis "Drifter" screened in various festivals around the US. He later moved to Los Angeles where he worked in editing and post production at Jerry Bruckheimer Films and The Walt Disney Company. He has worked with and learned from Academy Award winning and nominated editors such as Michael Kahn, William Goldenberg, Mark Goldblatt, David Brenner, Bud Smith, Wyatt Smith and directors such as Rob Marshall, Mike Newell, Jon Turteltaub and Hoyt Yeatman. Recently he has shot music videos in Greece. Currently he is working on his debut feature directorial effort and on various other projects, including music videos for Greek artists. |
