Cansel Elçin is a Turkish actor, producer and director born in Izmir, Turkey, in 1973. His family moved to France when he was 9 years old. He studied performing arts and acting at the Cours Florent in Paris. Thanks to his roles on Turkish TV dramas, he got an artistic notoriety in Turkey, in Grece and in some Arabic speaking countries. In 2009, he directed his first movie: Bare Foot on Campus. Angels’ Shepherd is his second film as a director.
