Rémy Ourdan is a war correspondent, reporter for Le Monde newspaper, documentary filmmaker, and president of the WARM Foundation on contemporary conflicts.
As a reporter, Ourdan began in 1992 in Sarajevo under siege and covered conflicts in Bosnia, Croatia, Congo, Eritrea-Ethiopia, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Israel-Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Central African Republic. He lived in Sarajevo and Baghdad. He covered post-war eras in Bosnia, Serbia, Rwanda, and international criminal justice. He is working on international jihad, al Qaeda and the Islamic State.
